Alcove
FAQ
What is Alcove?
A curated catalogue of useful objects for the home, for pets, and for giving. We select from specialist suppliers and makers; curation is the value — read more on About Alcove.
Does Alcove make its products?
No. We source from specialist suppliers and makers, and we say so plainly. What we add is the selection: comparing the field and choosing the version worth owning.
Where do the specifications come from?
Dimensions, materials and performance figures are taken from verified supplier or manufacturer documentation and represented as such. We don't invent test results.
What does “Useful Item No.” mean?
Every item in the catalogue is numbered as it earns its place. The number stays with the item — it's how we keep the catalogue small and deliberate.
How long does delivery take?
Each product page shows a delivery window for your market once its supply route is confirmed. Items ship from their suppliers, so windows are set per item — see Shipping & Delivery.
What if I want to return something?
See Returns. Faulty or damaged items are always replaced or refunded.
Do you discount?
Rarely, and never with fake compare-at prices. Prices reflect what the object costs to source and deliver well.
